For many years we have been involved in the production of several types of sailing boats and racing boats.
And since 1995 we have been focused on production of high performance boats, just like the Carter Optimist dinghy.
In the meantime, we have experienced that quality is not only a matter of using the right materials and design. In fact, it is the control over each and every technical and practical aspect from the mould to the finished product. It is this process that we control the best and it is the attention, practical knowledge and workmanship that we apply to each and every boat.
About our works …
The Carter Optimist and the non-class school design – Carter School Standard / Tourist / Racer boats are manufactured by our performance boat workshop in Poland.
Our present 1000 sqm production-floor workshop is perfectly equipped for building strong, durable and competitive racing and training boasts.
Developing the production tooling and production technology up to the top-grade level, we do not forget about protecting the labor force as well as the environment. Therefore the workshop is equipped with all up to date protection and waste re-cycling installations.
That is how we can beat many other European and non-European based boat builders in production, design and quality.
All boats are being made from the best and most sophisticated materials available on the market. And those materials are being used professionally by our skilled and dedicated production crew.
The very well trained, many years at work, production crew is involved in all stages of manufacturing – from building and maintaining the reinforced plugs and moulds up to production and finishing of the boats. Thereby, creating specialized and dedicated boat builders skills.
Visiting regattas for practical experience and to understand the very special wishes of the sailors as well as visiting all important boat-shows and technical and professional fairs, the crew is constantly developing their professional skills and understanding what they are doing.

The CARTER Optimist is safe and simple enough for a 7-year-old kid, but also exciting and technical enough for a kid-sailor up to 15-year-old.
Kids will be able to sail for fun in your local lake or sea and maybe they will start racing in club matches. Before you notice, they will be ready to race against other top class sailors in a national or even international regatta!!!!!
If you like to race and compete against others, the best choice would be a CARTER Optimist boat which is fully approved by the I.S.A.F. and the I.O.D.A for sailing in national and international regattas.

The boat is very much alike the original class boat, so it is a perfect tool for developing the sailing skills in practical trailning.
If you like such a boat, which is extra strong, durable and easy to handle for training or leisure sailing, the best choice would be our CARTER School Standard / Tourist / Racer.
With a CARTER School Standard / Tourist / Racer boat you are not allowed to race in official regatta’s, but due to the 3 strong airtanks and special design it is a fun and functional alternative.
